When should a replenishment reminder email be sent?
Send it shortly before the customer would usually run out, based on your product usage time and your own repeat purchase data. Start with an estimate, then adjust using how long customers really take to reorder.
Replenishment suits consumables such as coffee, supplements or skincare. Take the typical time a product lasts and set the delay slightly earlier than that.
Check your data for the median gap between first and second orders, and use separate delays for different products or sizes. A one-size delay will be too early for some and late for others.

In practice.
A coffee brand sells bags that last about a month for a typical household. Its flow sends a reminder a few days before that point. After reviewing order gaps, it moves large bags to a later reminder than small ones.
