Klaviyo and Judge.me.
Judge.me works with Klaviyo so review activity can feed your emails and segments. Typical uses are showing review ratings in flows, suppressing review requests for people who already reviewed, and thanking reviewers. Choose one tool to send review requests, then use Klaviyo for the wider customer journey around them.
What Judge.me sends to Klaviyo.
- Review created. A shopper has posted a review, which you can use to start a thank you or to exclude them from requests.
- Review request status. Information on whether a request has gone out, helping you avoid asking twice.
- Ratings for products. Star rating data you can surface in emails to support product choices.
- Reviewer marker on profiles. A property or metric that lets you build a segment of customers who have reviewed.
Flows it enables.
Reviewer appreciation
A short message after a review is posted, with a link to something relevant and no hard sell.
Non reviewer follow up
A gentle second nudge for buyers who ignored the first request, sent once and then left alone.
Rating led product emails
Add star ratings to browse abandonment and cross sell emails to give products credibility.
Photo review invitation
Invite happy reviewers to add a photo, because images make social proof more persuasive.
Setup order.
1. Open the app settings
In Judge.me find the Klaviyo connection option and follow its prompts to link your account.
2. Enter or authorise credentials
Use the method the app asks for, keeping keys limited to what the connection needs.
3. Run a test review
Post a review as a test customer and check that the matching activity or property appears in Klaviyo.
4. Decide on request ownership
Keep Judge.me requests or move them to a flow, and turn the unused option off.
5. Add ratings to templates
Insert rating content into the flows where it helps most, usually cart and browse recovery.
6. Test end to end
Follow an order through delivery, request, review and thank you, checking each trigger fires once.
Common pitfalls.
- Two systems sending different review requests to the same buyer.
- Requesting reviews for orders that were refunded or returned.
- Using ratings in an email block that has not been refreshed after changes.
- Over emailing non reviewers with repeated nudges.
- Forgetting that reviewing does not equal marketing consent.
Apps and Klaviyo both change their screens and options over time, so confirm names against what you see and check each app's own documentation for current details.
