How to fix a Klaviyo signup form not showing on your site

A Klaviyo form that does not appear is usually set to draft, blocked by its targeting or timing rules, hidden because the visitor already saw it, or not loading because the onsite script is missing. Check each in turn and test in a private browser window.

Have this ready.

Steps.

  1. 1. Check the form status

Open the form and confirm it is live, not a draft. Edits may also need publishing before they show up on the site.

  2. 2. Review the display rules

Read the targeting settings for pages, devices, timing and scroll. A rule that is too narrow can mean it never meets its conditions.

  3. 3. Check the visitor rules

Forms often hide for people who already subscribed, or who closed the form recently. Test with a fresh private window to avoid this.

  4. 4. Confirm onsite tracking loads

Make sure the Klaviyo script is on the page. If it is missing, forms cannot render, and it often vanishes after a theme change.

  5. 5. Look for conflicts

Check for other popups, cookie banners or page builders that could cover or block the form, and try on a different device.

  6. 6. Clear caches

Clear any site cache or CDN cache so visitors get the latest page, then reload and wait for the timing rule to trigger.

  7. 7. Test submission end to end

Submit the form with a new test email and confirm the profile lands on the right list with the expected consent.

Common pitfalls.

Check it worked.

Klaviyo changes its interface from time to time, so treat the steps as the order of work and match the names to what you see on screen.
